Football comes to Fortnite this week
Fortnite is kicking off one of the game's biggest Battle Royale collaborations even later this week, with the arrival of soccer (football, not helmets and shoulder pads) to the game. The event will usher in a new mode of soccer-themed game, team kit, creative island, and more.
The Kick Off (See what I did there?) On January 20, the Pelé Cup arrives in Fortnite, which brings a limited-time football-style game mode and plenty of prizes. Players who participate may have a chance to win in-game cosmetics: an `` Air Punch '' emote, themed by famous Brazilian footballer Pelé, and a `` Kickoff Set '' - a range of ten men and women. variations of women's outfits based on 23 different football clubs around the world.

Both of these cosmetics will also be available for sale in the Fortnite Item Shop from January 23.

Additionally, Fortnite's Creative Mode gets a football-inspired island with the event. The 4v4 support format mode allows players to use things like their bodies, pickaxes, bonuses, and speed boosts to outsmart other teams in two turns per match.
